Book Three - Talking With Christ
Introduction

Getting the Most from Your Study

The Bible is a book of life, a treasure chest of truth:
"...reviving the soul
...making wise the simple
...giving joy to the heart
...giving light to the eyes
...more precious than gold
...sweeter than honey."
--Psalm 19:7-10
The abundant riches God provides in His Word are available to every Christian, but they are truly grasped only by those who diligently dig for them.
Meditation and prayer are two keys that unlock this storehouse of God's Wisdom. They will help you understand and apply the verses you study.
To help you meditate on God's Word, you'll find questions in this book asking you to write out verses in your own words. To do this, read the verse two or three times, thinking it through. Then write down what it says as though you were telling someone else.
Whit this study book you'll learn more about communion with Christ while exploring these topics:
  • The Church
  • What Is the Bible?
  • God's Word in Your Life
  • Principles of Prayer
Remember: Ask for the Holy Spirit's instruction and be consistent and diligent in your study.
